Didn't McLaren do the conversion on those? I know Trump has the same car and it is always mentioned as a Mercedes McLaren...Is AMG producing them now?

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is an entirely different car that was built 2003-2009 by Mercedes and McLaren. The SLS AMG is a new 100% Mercedes developed car, only available since a few months.
