I was expecting Olivier Rousteing taking a bow at the end of this show...such a Balmain rip-off!

All the flowy dresses are very Peter Dundas. I'm sure i've seen some of them either at Cavalli, Pucci or Ungaro.
The MadMax hardcore stuff is very Rousteing but the trashiness is very MacDonald.
I can't hate on it. It's trashy and it's very much unapologetic.
From the wet hair to the excessive use of bronzer, he just can't help himself...
The funny thing about Julian MacDonald is that he is really the real outcast of LFW but his fashion speak to a lot more people than some of the young designers stuff.

Very Dundas, and there's still a market for this kind of cheese even though I'm not a fan of it personally. There probably always will be, considering Versace no longer does sexy. Must say I like this for what it is. Menswear would need to evolve way more, but I think the women's offering can sit comfortably next to Balmain and Cavalli.
