Yes, those are the covers I already have in my Karen collection. Unfortunatelly I don have almost all;(( I have scans of 15 more I still miss...I also saw some on Ebay, but they are mostly very expensive and I also can not afford to buy them all, but I am trying...collecting on 10 other models does not make it any easier.

The UK Frank magazine is from July 1998, but I have to make sure when I check my lists, I will give you the info later.

I started to collect seriously Karen's work only 2 years ago, but I already had tons of stuff as I am collecting on 10 other models, so starting a collection on her was rahter easy, I already had most

By the way I need some info on some US Vogue editorials, exact dates...so I hope you will be helping me. I also have tons of doubles...editorials, ads and some covers,too, so if you give me your wish list I will tell what what i can offer you.

I miss all her Hong Kong covers, can you help me? I also miss a Carmen kass Hong Kong Bazaar cover, do you by any chance have it or can you find it? I will trade it for a Karen cover!

I also have lots of videos, many full shows with Karen and I guess some interviews, but not sure...have to check and convert them in digital format.

A review of the only solo show Karen performed:

karen elson sang. the most beautiful redhead in human history. she sings hypnotically, closest to hope sandoval [mazzy star, warm inventions] but a little faster. barely. I. mean. still. slow. really. slowwww. really. slow...but perfectly. one of most affecting new voices in decades.
karen has the most incredible red hair, slightly curly, beatific in the maudlin irish bar lights. she strummed acoustic. james iha backed her up on e-bow slide. karen blew mouthharp and hit xylophone. exquisite covers. talking heads heaven. joy div heart & soul. [incredibly brave choice & it rocked!!!] echo & bunny kill moon. best echo cover ever!!! makes pavement & idlewild look crap!!! delightfully modest & self-effacing 'stage patter' :: "sorry I dont have anything more meaningful to say" !!!

perfect slim physique but not sickly. pristine porcelian milky skin. cute shy dimples. yes karen is my fave model now. I took 10 pics, e mail me if ud like to see them.
between sets saw craig mcdean, photog of moment with 3 edits in JAN W. elsie crombez came, another supe like karen. beautiful face, tall like 5'10"/11" super thin in jeans but dirty long hair. met aurelio, karen's young bf. nice guy. (he recommends beth gibbons CD, haerd its great) talked to karen about david byrne's lyrics & fear of music. talked about 'heart & soul' aurelio didnt know it was joydiv even tho he has closer. whoops. karen said she didnt expect to play gigs for a while, even dons where she hangs. say it isnt so.

wandered stanton for a bit. found hot coffee in korean deli with supernatural bagpipe music playing. extremely otherworldly moment. Id just seen karen the worlds most beautiful woman sing hypnotically transcendantly; then secret machines whipped up a total; frenzy of modern psychedlic transportation sturn & drang, then rushing on hot coffee in 30 degrre weather with harsh lit korea deli bagpipers...surreal & otherworldly. heaven tonite.
