^Thanks for the clarification anlabe32 and sixtdaily! Since I completely and utterly forgot about Mica's campaign being released, I was unsure what collection this was after seeing Hailey's shot earlier on today in US Glamour's September issue.

As naff as the whole cut and paste looks, I like the fact Hailey Baldwin scored the campaign and not.. Kendall. Hailey always seems to deliver in print, with her recent Guess campaign and now this. She looks fantastic here (and so does Joan).

Joan is one of the supermodels of this decade, she has constantly done major runways shows and magazine appearances, ad campaigns for many years, has several Vogue covers, she poses well, she has cosmetic contacts and is adored in this industry, was models.com´s number 1 model in the world because of her credentials + she is a very nice girl and has a true talent as a model. Nobody can´t say the thing about Jenner though.

This ad campaign looks cheap indeed but it isn´t Joan´s fault.

I actually have not seen Mica's ad in US/Canadian magazines. American Vogue Sept issue had a 4-page ad for KL with 3 pages for Joan and 1 Hailey. Joan looks fantastic and delivers in all her pics...

Good or bad are always subjective from person to person, but the fact she's a top model who doesn't come from money or an influential family, and that she has repeatedly worked with so many important names in only 8 years speak for herself... obvious facts don't need to be tagged with obvious adjectives, whether you personally like her or not, it's obvious she keeps slaying.

Now, here... well, I've seen stronger pictures of both of them. Karl's photography and ideas are getting as outdated as Testino's.

Meh. Joan isn't doing that much these days besides showing up at events every week like she's the new Chanel Iman. Everyone knew Karlie was the real no 1 at time and if you look through the 'Models You've Met in Person' threads, more than a few people have confirmed that she was never a nice person.

Still, she's not one of the worst ever. Hailey on the other hand..truly the worst.

My thoughts exactly but some people apparently want to disregard her REAL fashion credits for the past decade. You don´t like her? Fine. We all have our taste in models but don´t insult her saying she is one of the worst models. She is one of the best BEST runway walkers and poses very well.

I would take Joan Smalls or Chanel Iman over those stupid instagirls and social climbers any day of the week. Once again youngsters: high fashion models are defined by talent and credentials not by the number of followers on Instagram. Duh!

Joan may have real fashion credits but I'm sorry to tell you; she is the definition of social climber and that has been noticed 1000 times on this forum. I won't say anything more after this comment because I hate continued negativity but those of us who have been here for years have noticed her suddenly changing groups of friends every time a group of new models is popular. I won't say it is not a smart business tactic because it certainly helps her out to be photographed with Gigi and Kendall, or Cara and Karlie a few years ago, or Lily, Freja and Abbey back in the day but it is extremely transparent.

Joan is still closest to the models of her time. She seems very close to Lily D and Doutzen. Models like Abbey and Freja hardly work anymore. It does not make her a "social climber" to be nice to the new girls especially if she works with them on campaigns and such.
