Cameron Williamson: Iman once said that when she was on the runway she thought of Africa. What’s top of mind when you’re on the catwalk?
Karlie Kloss: I focus on the woman I’m embodying. At an Oscar de la Renta show, I think about elegance; at Alexander Wang, it’s all about attitude and independence.

Cameron Williamson: What’s the secret to having a long career in the modelling industry?
Karlie Kloss: Being able to find a balance between your career, outside interests and personal life. My family’s support keeps me going and taking time off to spend with them is what has allowed me to stay driven.

Cameron Williamson: Recently you enrolled in NYU—what are you going to study?
Karlie Kloss: I don’t have to declare a major just yet. I’m still in the process of looking through courses but I’m so excited to get started!

Cameron Williamson: You’ve said that knowing how to code is necessary to succeed in a digital world, especially for women—what inspired you to take up coding in the first place?
Karlie Kloss: It’s always fascinated me, but it’s not a subject I was taught in school. So last year, I decided to take a coding crash course and I ended up LOVING it. There’s a big misconception that coding is strictly mathematical; it’s actually incredibly creative. Code runs everything around us, and young women are so important to defining the future.

Cameron Williamson: Decades from now, when you look back at your career, what do you want to be remembered for?
Karlie Kloss: I hope my career spans decades and can be looked back on! If I can show one girl that you can do whatever you set your mind to, I will be thrilled.

Thanks for the posts #841.

I watched her most recent video showing the BTS of this shoot. I find it slightly funny she mentioned that she had only one take to get that (complicated) diving shot, and when she did the crew clapped like crazy; yet here, we see her hair, body and sneakers are totally wet.:lol::lol:

If you take a look at the scans, it mentions in a caption that she actually attempted that shot 12 times. Aka they only showed it once in the vid ;)

My fingers are crossed she gets the Vogue September cover. I think she's really the only one out there who deserves it (and would realistically match Wintour's ideals and such).

This would be ideal but would Anna put her on the cover again after her not so successful cover with Taylor Swift?

she's already on Glamour which is also published by Conde Nast so i doubt Anna would want to share cover subject with Glamour.
