Karlie has truly turned into one of the all time great models. She's the gift that just keeps on giving. A true Supermodel for the new millenium. Love her grace and beauty and generosity of spirit. She's an asset to everything she does. So happy for her continued success. She deserves it. Classic)

Vanity Check: Karlie Kloss
The 18 year-old model storming the fashion world
reveals that she loves nothing more then cookie
dough and her grandma's cooking.

Born in Chicago and raised in Missouri, Karlie
Kloss, 18, began studying at Caston's Ballet
Academie in St Louis when she was 10 years old
and was scouted three years later at a charity
fashion show in her local shopping mall. She
made her catwalk debut in 2007 and has since
fronted various campaigns culminating in five this
season: Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Aquascutum,
Donna Karan and Hermès. Her face has graced
the cover of almost every Vogue in the stable as
well as i-D, W, Dazed & Confused and Interview.
She lives in Tribeca, New York.
Dress
I have the most beautiful Alexander
McQueen dress from his last collection. It was
sent to me by Sarah Burton (McQueen's
successor as creative director) after we worked
together on the recent autumn/winter 2010
presentation. While my sisters (15-year-old twins
and her older sister, 21) were with me in London
they visited the V&A Museum and saw the same
dress on display. It is a privilege to own such a
piece of art.
Designers
I get to work with icons such as John
Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier and
many others. It is an honour to work with some of
the greatest designers of all time.
Memorable outfit
My dreams came true while
wearing the opening look from the spring/
summer 2010 Dior ready-to-wear collection. I will
never forget how special I felt opening John
Galliano's show, like I was living a dream. A few
weeks later I wore that same outfit in front of
Steven Meisel's lens for the spring Dior campaign.
After that photo shoot John sent me a beautiful
black leather Dior bag, which is so special to me. I
hope to give it to my daughter or my
granddaughter one day.
Jewellery
I have a necklace with a golden key,
given to me by my sisters, which I always wear. I
have lots of antique jewellery that I have collected
on my travels. I own some classic David Yurman
and Tiffany pieces that my dad has given me for
birthdays and special occasions.
Shoes
There is nothing better than a pair of
Giuseppe Zanotti heels.
Watch
I wear a simple Movado watch with a
black leather strap and silver face, but I still
manage to always be late.
If you could shop in only one shop
I'd choose
Marks & Spencer. That place is amazing. You can
buy anything in there.
Hotel
I love staying at the Soho Hotel whenever
I'm in London. It has the comfiest beds ever.
Restaurant
My favourite place to eat is my
grandma's kitchen. She makes a mean crab cake.
I'm not picky about restaurants. Wherever I go on
my travels, I always try new cuisines and flavours,
from all different parts of the world. I recently just
fell in love with escargots.
Lipstick
I love my Dior Addict Lip Glow. It is a
colour-awakening lip balm - like a lipstick, but it
gives a different shade of pink on each person
who wears it, depending on the shade of their
lips. When my sisters and I share the same tube,
we each get different results.
Mascara
CoverGirl LashBlast mascara is a must.
Moisturiser
Embryolisse is an industry secret. It
is so light and refreshing, the absolute best.
Nail polish
Deborah Lippmann nail polishes and
nail-care products are amazing.
Perfume
I love my Marc Jacobs Lola fragrance for
day and night.
Beauty product you can't live without
My Laura
Mercier Secret Camouflage compact. It is my
secret weapon for everything; under the eyes, on
the spot, it covers up anything.
Charity
I love the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It is
so magical how they go to every extent to help a
child's dream come true. I would love to be a part
of their magic-making some day.
Guilty pleasure
Cookie dough. Whenever I have
even a spare second, I'm in the kitchen whipping
up a batch of cookies. I make a mean batch of
chocolate chippers.
Perfect evening
A summer night at home with
my family (my parents, sisters, four dogs and two
cats), curled up on the couch with a black-and-
white movie during a thunderstorm.
Biggest luxury
Treating myself, my mom and
my sisters to a day at the spa.
Smallest luxury
A pack of gum at the airport.
