Karlie was so good at JPG! i loved her vogueing, then her fierce walk, and she looked beautiful with that natural make-up, and the slight ponytail, it wasn't too much, it was just cool.

I was hoping she'd do more shows for PFW. Hardly any at all though.

I was hoping she'd do more shows too, she didn't do Lanvin, Elie Saab or Stella McCartney; all of which she was regulars at. And I was really hoping we'd see her at Chanel. I love seeing her on the runway and thought she'd do more in Paris due to filming for VS during Milan. But her performance at JPG makes up for not seeing her much. She was flawless there and I can't stop watching it.

Yes she already did, for British Vogue October 2010 and W Magazine on the same year IIRC. And it was a beautiful editorial.

it's sad to see karlie is fading in the high fashion world.

I don't know if she is fading but she has decreased her visibility in the last year. I don't know how the IMG switch was good for her. She had VS before she left, got House of Style just as she left Next, has dropped to number 9 on models.com, pretty bad on that GMA bit on fashion items.
Seems since she got VS, that is her focus or time because of the money it brings, but many think she is truly a High Fashion girl, not very sexy, and belongs on the runway to get the campaigns again. But maybe after 5 years and her handsome boyfriend her focus is on doing less. I really miss her on the runway.

she is definitely one of the best models of this generation.

She was on the cover for Vogue UK last September and she did have campaigns for Lanvin and Louis Vuitton bags.

Vogue US have had mini breaks from her before and she's come right back after a few issues.

I'm not saying she's on top like she used to but she's not fading. She still opened or closed most of the shows she walked plus she was working during Milan fashion week. Also, she's a big name now so it's unlikely she'll walk as much as she used to.

Karlie is already established. She doesn't need to appear everywhere to stay relevant. Her drop in the top 50 ranking doesn't say anything to me- it's not like everyone on there is ranked as deserved. IMO she's on her way to becoming an icon.
