it's sad to see karlie is fading in the high fashion world.

We have to understand that fashion is faster and faster year by year..look at the recent Spring 2014 shows: only new "it girls" and few established..even the girls that few seasons ago booked +40 shows now have turned into 10/15: recently runways are only a jump..Joan, Karlie, Arizona, Karmen are already famous, rich, established..they don't need EVERY shows, they're big and well connected in the industry. Look at Freja: no shows at all for years and bam! Prada F/W 13.14 ads.

It's all SO fast..in the 2000's we are used to see Natasha Poly, Stam, Anja Rubik, Raquel Zimmermann etc in EVERY catwalks for YEARS meanwhile they were building their status. Now we see a crop of "it girls" and then a couple of years later or they're just fading or they leave runways and they're a name (recent example: Constance Jablonski).
