Polish model Kasia Wrobel’s translucent blue eyes, ivory skin, angular features, and dusting of freckles give the 19-year-old newcomer a haunting elegance that makes you want to know what she is thinking. Her face expresses a mixture of innocence and wistfulness that is both fresh and bewitching. It is possibly this comingling of traits that caught Marc Jacobs’ eye. Jacobs (one of fashion’s most hallowed arbiters), who has proved time and again that he definitely knows how to pick ‘em, cast Kasia in both his Marc Jacobs and Marc by Marc Jacobs shows. We caught up with Kasia at her agency, Supreme Management in SoHo, where she is pictured here in front of other Supreme models, at the beginning of New York Fashion Week and then followed her backstage as she prepped for the Marc by Marc Jacobs show.
