Kat Cordts from Hamburg | Mother Agency: MD Management in Hamburg | Booking:
[email protected]
Kat Cordts stands for ultra extravagant beauty, ultra extravagant charm and ultra extravagant expressions. If this beauty is able to do one thing, then it's to bring a picture to life, which is most definitely the reason behind the genuinely phenomenal portfolio she built up within less than a year (Incredible!). Discovered & proudly represented by MD Management in Hamburg, the German blonde has just photographed for Italy's most elitist fashion magazine and besides that, she has got pages upon pages in other publications in the making. Digital Diamonds suddenly desired to know if there is a ultra personality behind her ultra beauty, and apparently, there is one, indeed:
How were you discovered?
I was discovered by a scout from MD Model Management at McDonalds last October. MD Management is now my motheragency. Like a fairy tale story (Laughs)
What are the best characteristics of your agent?
It's always nice to talk to him - even if it's no good news. And he has the loudest and most infectious laugh I have ever heard. Even when I'm not talking to him directly on the phone I can hear this spectacular laughter in the background and have to start laughing as well.
Your least favourite German city?
Don't have one, I'm a total German girl!
Most harmful thing you have ever done at school?
Not paying attention to mathematics because I thought I won't need all this stuff like Algebra and statistics later.
How does being from Germany help you in the industry?
German behaviour helps a lot. Always being on time and nice to everyone!
Least favourite German dish?
Kohlrouladen - Hopefully my grandma won't read this!
Which German models are you friend with?
Ines Petersen! She was a big help for me when I had my first trip to Sydney for two months. Hanging out with her really helped not feeling sad being away from home during pre-Christmas time. Also Alina Preiss! We lived together during our stay in Istanbul and became friends. We had a great time there and I felt sad when she left the city before I did. Accidentally, we crashed into each other on a shooting in Athens - The reunion could not have been bigger!
Your favourite and least favourite song at the moment?
My favourite song is Can't Stop by RHCP - Old but gold because it's motivation no matter which situation you are in. Not so much: Used to know by Gotye, actually a nice song but too many different remixes and definitely played too often on the radio.
We Germans are not exactly talented when it comes to styling and so on. Give the Germans at your age some style advice, please!
I think the younger generation has quite a good style! Our generation is a retro-generation and we're mixing all the stuff together. Although I sometimes wish the Germans would open up for more types of styling!
