Kate Upton Vogue cover rumors have been swirling for a while–specifically that she’d been shot for the cover of this year’s February issue–which ended up going to Rooney Mara.
But worry not: Upton’s first American Vogue cover (and third time in the magazine) is on its way for June, we hear from a reliable source.
According to Vogue‘s editorial calendar, the theme of the June issue this year is “summer escapes,” so suffice it to say, Upton will probably be a little less covered up than she was in her first Vogue editorial.

she is 100% completely unrecognizeable in that Gilette ad. if i didn't know it was her, i would've just thought it was any generic blonde model.

She's got a really weird body. It's not so much that she hasn't got any curves - hell, a preponderance of high fashion models don't really have any curves, and increasingly, more and more VS models are high fashion models like Karlie who decidedly don't have any boobs or curves - but that she's just got a very, very strange shape.

Her stomach looks really weird. It's convex, almost. And she looks pretty ridiculous in bikinis - her boobs are ginormous and look squashed into a top three or four sizes too small, and her stomach doesn't really lend itself well to those ultra minuscule bottoms she's always wearing. Oh, and even they look a size or three too small.

And speaking about her boobs - they again look pretty incongruous compared with the rest of her body. They're just way too huge and disproportionate. She looks like a straight tree trunk except for two enormous globes of breasts. Honestly, I've never seen a glamour model with her kind of body before.

As for her face - I'd say she's quite pretty. Not beautiful, and not high-fashion harsh, but pretty and feminine. Of course, it doesn't lend itself well to profile shots or certain kind of staple shots, but she's far from plain.

As a matter of fact, she looks fantastic in that blue dress. She's streets ahead WITH clothes than she does without. It's almost the opposite of Candice Swanepoel who looks nowhere near as good with clothes on than she does without.

I am just recently checking into the hype and I completely agree with this whole post.

They thinned out her eyebrows in that Gillette ad. Her dark eyebrows are almost a signature to her face now.

Scoop: Kate Upton Will Front Vogue‘s June Cover!
This year is shaping up to be even bigger than the last for Kate Upton, as we have word straight from Samsung that she will be be covering the June issue of US Vogue.

The two-time Sport’s Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl will be in town shilling for Samsung’s Spring TV launch next week, and we received a tip for an interview opportunity containing the following juicy little tidbit of information:

“Kate Upton can chat about her upcoming Vogue cover in June, where she’s taking her bikini for Spring Break after shooting the SI cover in Antarctic…and maybe do the Dougie!”

Alas, we don’t think Anna Wintour will be Dougie-ing about this one. And to think, she was having SUCH a good week…

We’ve reached out to Condé Nast for comment and will update when we receive a response.

UPDATE: A spokesperson from Condé Nast has responded that they do not comment on future editorial, so it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see!

I find her face completely forgettable, which might be why so many people remember her for her body and not her face.

Forgettable? ... how come someone who's practically viral could be forgettable?! She's everywhere in fashion (CR, VI, AM, BV, etc..), media (Gillette, SI, GQ, Cosmo, TMZ, etc). She's the only model besides Gisele and the 90s supers that my grandfather recognizes on TV! and that's a lot! ... I mean, pls!

Of cooourse her face is definitely not in the same range of... for example, Kelly Mittendorf? if that's where you were going, but I love the little twist that her American girl next door looks have, with her unperfect teeth, her bushy brows, and her mole. Without those 3 features, she wouldn't have had the hf attention she's been getting so far.

Her face definitely is far from forgettable if you actually look at her face. Like Legolas said, she has some pretty distinct features. She has those very dark, thick arched eyebrows which contrast a lot with her baby blond wispy hair--that's not something seen on many blonds. She has that mole and a cherubic face. She also has piercing almond eyes instead of big round eyes which I find very engaging in photos (notice how most top models have almond eyes? Claudia, Linda, Kate, Gisele, Karlie even Kelly?).
That said, there are many people out there who don't really "read" faces well and go by coloring so they confuse blonds with other blonds (uh Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears? Candice Swanepoel and Rosie HW?).
