I went to high school with her and her brother and sister.
Their family is South African.
She seemed very shy and her mum doesn't like how the modelling scene is very exploitative as they are very religious and she's only 14/15.

just a little info about Katie from her agency vanity walk:

New Face Katie Braatvedt shoots for Australian Vogue & is on hold for Prada & Miu Miu shows in Milan in Sept.

i can so see her walking for Miu Miu. hopefully we will see her in Milan fashion week.
