Power beauty and the ease of true chic!

She was a SS12 Givenchy exclusive in a sea of exclusives and still to this day I'm remembering the conversation I had with Ms Kruger at the end of Paris Fashion Week. I think it is because at a time when all the clients are saying that models have to learn to be compelling actresses in order to carry off fashion films, Kathryn stays in mind as burning with a kind of cinematic beauty. Hailing from South Africa, she beamed this kind of effortless beauty that had even more impact because of the ease and nonchalance. On top of that beauty, Kathryn was funny, unaffected, excited to have clocked her first show (and to have met Gisele,) but most of all absolutely polished in posture, bearing and manner. For Fall 2012...this girl is everything!

Wayne seems like he's more or less had it with overhyped new girls, so this blessing is no small thing! I see a 35+ show season for her come February--either that, or 15 of the very best. Until then, who knows where she might pop on the editorial circuit? I'm as bitter as Wayne about the whole "blip" phenomenon, but Katryn seems like she could be worth the hype!

Okay, I hate--HATE--when people do this on TFS, but do you think that's Katryn back there in the center image? These are supposedly images from the Prada Spring/Summer 2012 campaign, and another similar image of Elise Crombez has also surfaced on BryanBoy's blog. It looks like it could be her, and there were all those whispers earlier about her getting booked for Prada which got swept very well under the rug...

The Top 8 editorial is wonderful, and she is definitely the Top 1 in it. Her pictures stand out the most, in a great cast of young guns.

Hope the Prada campaign did in fact work out for her, I'm getting antsy waiting.

So its pretty safe to assume that she's one of the Prada girls
Good for Katryn
Unlike many other bland Prada girls, she has the potential to stick around, her face is amazing. I mean her only appearance at Givenchy blew me away, so much presence.

From the Prada picture I can't tell if it's Katryn or Daria, but Katryn would make a lot more sense! I don't think Daria works with Meisel anymore
