I really like the shape of her face, as she has a strong jaw, but such delicate features otherwise. Almost a little Snejana-esque...? Regardless, I think Kayla is exceptionally stunning and I really hope to see her do well in the next few seasons.

1mgmt just has some amazing new faces this time around. Like a triumviate of newness with Kayla, Gwen and Alex.

How/where were you discovered? In the grocery store. I ran out to the car to see if my mom left her purse in
 there at the same time an agent was turning around in the parking lot,
 he saw me and followed me into the store and voila!


How do you manage school and modeling? It's all about time management. I can handle it!
 

What is your favorite food? Probably 
popcorn with m&ms. But don't tell my agency that 
 

Where is your favorite city to travel and why? Destin, Florida. It's
 where my family spends our summer break. 


What do you like to do in your free time? I like to read, go to
 movies, shop, you know: typical girl stuff. 

If you weren't modeling, what could you see yourself doing as a 
career? I'd say I'd want to be either an actor or a brain surgeon; I
 mean, who doesn't want to meet Dr. McDreamy? 

What do your friends think about you modeling? Not many of them know, 
actually, just my really close ones. They think it's cool.
 

Do you ever get to keep the clothes from the shoots? Not yet, but 
I'd like to! 
 

If you could book your dream job, what would it be? That's really 
hard, but a spread in Teen Vogue would be nice (wink, wink) 
 

What are your must-have makeup essentials? I don't really wear
 makeup, just lip balm. 
 

Who are your favorite models? Cintia Dicker and Caroline Trentini,
they're both gorgeous!


Who are your style icons? Rachel Bilson and Reese Witherspoon. Again,
 gorgeous and classy.
What advice would you give to a girl trying to break into this 
industry? Be yourself and be patient.

^I was too actually. I had high hopes for Kayla and Alex Shaffer (also from One), but nothing seemed to happen, especially for Kayla. My guess would be that they were taking their time to develop her properly. Who knows, it could have also been a school issue. The important thing is that it seems that she's here and ready now.

Also, I was looking over her showcard again. The styling in it is actually kind of genius, when you consider how well the lines of that headpiece mirror the angles and contour of Kayla's face.

Ugggghhh... I totally do NOT like this girl. Last summer I linked up with a photographer to do an agency test. He chose this girl because he thought she was going to be "big". I however, was not impressed at all but I decided to give it a go anyway. So on the day of the shoot, not only does she NOT SHOW UP, she never called or answered her phone. The photographer even called her agency and they couldn't get in contact with her either!! The whole team was more than pissed Then I get my Nylon in the mail and who do I see? Kayla's bland ***...
