frockwriterWho is Kia Low?
An 18 year-old from Brisbane who was one of the Top 100 in Cycle 7 of Australia's Next Top Model - the 2011 series that was won by Montana Cox.
Low never made it into the show itself, but was recommended to and subsequently signed by Brisbane agency Tamblyn Management last year. In the interim, she has done a few bits and pieces of extremely low profile work, including various shows at a Brisbane bridal expo and the 2012 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane.
This year, however, Low's options changed.
She was signed with Chadwick Models in Sydney, cast in both last month's David Jones and Myer Spring/Summer 2013/2014 showcases in Sydney, signed internationally with Next Model Management and featured on models.com.
Low is currently on option for a New York Fashion Week exclusive. It will be very interesting to see what happens.
With her strong chin and eyebrows and low hairline, Low has a particularly intense look, that is part young Brooke Shields, Gretel Packer and Joan Sutherland.
Will she be the next Australia's Next Top Model alumna to make her mark OS?
This feisty 19 year old Australian born and bred KIA LOW was full of spirt on set shooting this ROUGH PROFILE October issue. I guess that was a good a way to start. Wearing pieces from Iris & Ink autumn/winter 2013 collection by THE OUTNET, Kia best describes herself as unique and fun. A great mover, unique jawline and big eyes is what makes her an individual. This is what Kia had to say about herself and the profession she is in.
