thought I would bring this thread "back to life" or try, because I'm interested in the kiehl's products for the face! I've seen pictures of Hedi Klum at a kiehl's store and I know that Kate Bosworth uses their cucumber toner. So any feedback will be greatly appriciated

Well, on one hand, I disagree w/ their approach to skincare. For me, I dont believe you need 10 different cleansers, 8 different toners, all these different moisturizers, and especially 4 different exfoliators..But I do have my favorites..

Like everybody else, I love their creme de corp & lip-balm..For their lip-balm, about 2 or 3 years ago, I purchased a jar of it, and it still lasted me until I lost it last month..and after all these years, it was still effective..

I also love their rare-earth facial cleansing mask...My face always felt just so CLEAN after using it...It does work, and it actually FELT like it worked too--big plus for me..

If Im in the mood to splurge a little bit & buy products that I dont really need, then I like to treat myself to some of their shaving products..they make shaving fun!

Has anyone some experiences with Kiehl's shampoos and conditioners? Please share! I'm especially interested in the Amino Acid Shampoo and in the Hair Conditioner and grooming Aid Form.144.

the amino acid shampoo is amazing! i love it and gladly spend the $$. it smells like the beach, and leaves my hair super-clean and soft but doesn't weigh it down. definitely give it a try.

as far as conditioner goes, i use the extra-strength conditioning rinse with added coconut. again, it smells amazing and moisturizes like crazy without weighing my hair down.

my hair is stick-straight, so i sometimes use the silk groom serum to keep flyaways down... like in the winter, when it gets static-y like crazy.

the amino acid shampoo is very good...shiny, healthy, smooth hair.
also i recommend the hair styling products, the silk groom serum is excellent and the straightening balm is also very good..my hair isn't weighed down by using product and it just helps keep my blow dried hair together. very sleek.

But what does the silke groom serum? And how funktions the cream with silk groom?

I just bought the "creme with silk groom" and I'm a fan already. You can put it in your hair after having washed it, but you can also use it on dry hair. It doesn't weigh your hair down, but leaves it soft and shiny. I guess it's really great if you blowdry or straighten your hair a lot, because it protects your hair from the heat.
