Kiminori Morishita made its weapons of future designer within the company nippone "Tete Homme" initially as model maker then work with manufacture for finally becoming designer. In 2003, it launches out and melts its mark with the hope to burst one day the international scene of the mode. A few seasons later, the objective is achieved with a very succeeded collection winter 2005-2006 which shows a real control of clothing and its development. Leitmotiv, the aristocracy déchue, which translates the glance sz Kiminori Morishita, its imaginary of the European man, and finds a splendid echo with this collection through a meticulous work of customisation of clothing "I imagine the embroidery like a part which does only one with clothing", explains the creator. Obviously, if the customisation stopped with the embroidery of additions here and there on a bottom of trousers or in the back of a right jacket, that would be known. This personalization, Kiminori Morishita, were made of it Master also with tinted jackets of lacquer which freezes and solidifies forever the wire, the textile, the matter, clothing. The result is with the height of this artisanal step which requires two hours working manual on each clothing, with a fashion right, all in smoothness, to almost collect. Kiminori Morishita is distributed of exclusiveness at Shimji, single point of sale in the world except Japan. Opinion with the globe trotters of planet, fashion victims in love with the rare parts, which will make stopover by Paris soon...

thanks everyone for the responses. and yeah, can someone with a better handle on french and english please re-translate the text? although i like the bad translation as well, i did not get most of it! sounds like the french version might have been a bad translation from japanese...

did some more research into KM; actually the stuff is okay... besides that one jacket i found. very very on the dot japanese design with quite obvious hedi slimane influences...

Funny, I was going to start a thread on him just cause of those photos on la-couture. they werent too impressive but i liked the details.

yeah, i had the same thought too, cerfas. i still like few of his pieces though. well "brina", conmunicashion rocks.

very nice;-) Where can it buy? I think japan fashion designers actually must be sell ONLY in concept stores. Is this thue?

WOW!

I am in love with those cargo pants by Kiminori...the satin military pants number 054 on page 2...I WANT those...lol

oh and the combination riders jacket, number 042 on page 2...what a jacket, not cheap at 81900yen, that works out at £411.84 lol..but it's very nice. Although I cringe at sheep skin. :(

The attachment hoodie, sweat parka, 026 is very nice too, Not a fan of black though:smile:...The rest of the attachment stuff isn't too appealing though

I'm liking this designer Kiminori Morishita, I've looked into buying off that site, it only provides an email address (i pressume for ordering).. [email protected]

Is there any other site or any other way I haven't found on that site to purchase ?

Thanks, cheers for the link mirrra :D

I agree about babelfish translations
i once saw something at a museum...this guy had made some kind of program that would run a piece of text thru babelfish continuously --the same piece into and out of different languages--it was hilariously distorted, projected onto a wall

for those of you in hong kong, you can find KM's stuff at Lane Crawford IFC and Canton Road. not cheap though.

Thanks for the link, surver, but I don't like any of it. The first jacket puts me off--don't like the use of patches ...the jeans are pretty boring ... the last shirt is ok but nothing spectacular. it all almost looks like something from a mall chain store.

i agree with you cerfas; as i mentioned before. but the jacket i bought has a great cut and great detailing.
