That is gorgeous! Very nice creations. It reminds me a bit of swedish designer Filippa K's desings. Sleek, classy and simple. Very nice!!

wow, how beautiful. :) I love the thick band on the balloon skirt.. gorgeous touch. It makes it easier for those of us less daring to traipse around in one. <g>

I do enjoy her collections. The pictures from last season are great but this year her Srping/Summer 2007, is definatly more my style.

A little more about her :

"Kirrily Johnston launched her namesake label for Spring Summer 2004/2005. The collection named “Meet Me At The Magic Club” received outstanding reviews from some of Australia’s most influential fashion editors.

Edwina McCann, Fashion Editor at The Australian (the nation’s leading newspaper) was impressed, placing Kirrily Johnston in her top 5 “Best of the best.” Having received formal training at the Melbourne Institute of Textiles, Kirrily Johnston began her career in fashion in Melbourne in 1999. Now based in Sydney, her aim has been to blend elegance with innovation. Focusing on luxurious fabrics and quality craftsmanship, Kirrily’s clothes are detailed and tailored yet maintain a sexy modern edge.

Kirrily’s more famous fans include Rhada Mitchell, Megan Gale, Alek Wek, Jada Pinkett Smith and Suze De Marche."

I love that she’s continued using a healthy palette of colour in her pieces. It’s all very feminine touched with sensible shapes and silhouettes. The coral colour is lovely, i like the whole puffball definition and airy fabrics.

the first white & orange dresses in the last post are very pretty.....
other than that, its not really my cup of tea....
but its nice to hear about aussie designers.....thanks!......
