I know I'm suppose to hate the shoes but I just can't. I think they are fun. However I don't think they really go with the rest of the look. The shoes give off a hippie sort of vibe I think and it doesn't really work with the sleekness of the rest of the outfit. Overall, I think Kirsten looks amazing, that dress is so flattering on her. And her makeup look's lovely... the purple eyeshadow... everything's wonderful.

The ‘Melancholia’ actress chose tailored basics, including a white Dolce & Gabbana blazer and contrasting black mini dress.

i don't hate the shoes, it doesn't go quite well with the outfit, but somehow it seems so "her". it goes with her spirit so well. therefore it feels quite authentic. and i can't hate something like that.
