I love that she has continued to grow her hair out... she has recently said that she is a long hair girl at heart! I agree with the general opinion that her hair really did make her stand out. I remember her saying in that Vogue article that she kind of hide behind her hair and kept it long in memory of her mom, who died when she was young. while we are on the topic of her hair, I also like that she has bangs now, which switches up her long hair style, and makes her look fresh

Oh forgot about the article mentioning her paying tribute to her mom with keeping her hair long. There was one particular backstage photo of her from US Vogue in probably I'll say '96, '97 and she was in John Galliano I think but her hair was just like a shimmering halo around her.
