Model Debut: Kolfinna K
With her pixie-crop and androgynous style, 19-year-old Icelandic newcomer Kolfinna Kristófersdóttir hit everybody's radar over fashion week. She opened and closed Christopher Kane's purple shower in London and walked for Versace, Prada, Fendi, Giles, Acne and Marc Jacobs amongst others – not bad for a first season, and ensures that she will definitely be a face to recognise this summer. Anothermag.com caught up with Kolfinna after the fashion week whirlwind to talk vintage treasures and synthesised beats.
What is your favourite look that you have walked in this season?
My favorite look was the leather, dress/coat I walked in at Versace.
Where are your favourite places to shop?
Vintage boutiques like Beyond Retro and markets like Portobello Road, and I also like shopping at Topshop.
Do you have a favourite item of clothing?
Yes so many! One of them is my black fur jacket I bought in a store in Iceland.
What is your favourite song / band right now?
I mostly listen to Burial and Aphex Twin these days.
What was the last thing that made you laugh?
My sister always makes me laugh.
If you weren't modelling right now what would you be doing?
I think I would be in school since I haven't finished it.
