There's nothing quite like a turtleneck in autumn. Both for its comfort and style, the sweater is an essential item for combatting post-summer withdrawals. Its shape hugs you, setting off the face and elongating the body. Made iconic by everyone from Diane Keaton to Andy Warhol and Jackie O, the garment has been permanently impressed in our minds as a signifier of elegance and style. We can't help but think back to the iconic black and whites shot by Bruce Weber to better demonstrate the subtle power of the perfect turtleneck sweater. On a late Friday afternoon, we took 16 year old California-bred Kristina Jordan for her first winter stroll around the village. I think we can all agree she wears it well.
