i love how the metallics are used as accents!!! someone got it RIGHT!

i love the colors! peach and orange. green and silver! the green and brown, cream, or peach.


but, overall... i like the colors more than the line... i will have to pass on the baggy pieces. those aren't flattering at all. i am over the constant sportwear references too.


but,
i LOVE and would buy:
the green and silver dress
the cream textured tank and black pants [all in the bottom row of the 3rd section!]
the little black dress in the 1st row of the third section!
the green see through skirt in the first row of the second section. Lovely!

This is pure fashion perfection. What a fresh, juicy jolt of color! The first two plates remind me somewhat of fashion of the late 90s--sporty, sleek, energetic, wearable. I guess I must miss those days and this seems pretty close to it. Sort of Jil Sander-ish with color, no?

Great description, Chickonspeed. I can definitely see what you mean about the late 90's sporty, sleek with a slight touch of minimalism. Maybe that's why I like it so much. B)

I also have to say nice citrus colors he used in this collection. Seems like I want summer to come already. Definely love that White trench coat Tetyana is wearing. Very sleek silhoutte!

The indefatigable Mariucia Mandelli does it again. Whoever designer she hired this season (Alber Elbaz a couple of years ago, Hamish Morrow last season) he/she dida good job.

First of all, color. The color was very right for now and though it seemed from the '90s he made it contemporary. Plus it was very modern with the abstract details that seemed to go soemwhere. The pieces were great too and the dresses were B) .
