your legs look longer and slimmer?
the exhilirating feel of arched feet?
the tantalizing clicking sounds when you walk?

All of the above. + I feel sexy/sensual and elegant! :)

Heels can bring a certain poise to how someone carries themselves, as long as they know how to walk in heels. I see so much clomping around in shoes that people can't move in, though... especially platforms.

exactly, I feel like I walk sexier, with better posture, even more confidently when I'm in heels. I feel dumpy, like a duck in flats.

I like heels cause women tend to look more sexy. For example, lingerie or swim wear looks less sexy w/o heels. A lot of girls move a lot more graceful (given that they know how to walk in heels) in heels than flats.

i think they make a girl/woman seem confident(for the most part), but i think everything about the sexualization of heels is socialized so the question is "are heels sexy"?

to answer the question - yes, for the most part

it's not necessarily the shoes themselves that are sexy - but the effect of wearing them - wiggly-jiggly walk, the legs seem to change shape/length, and can also do wonders for the butt (yes, heels can turn on both leg AND butt guys equally)

i love feeling even taller! but my love for heels is almost hard to express in words. i love wearing them, shopping for them, everything!

lol, i don't feel like i walk all that gracefully most of the time when i'm in super high wedges not even just stilts. hehe. the heels elongate and show off my legs and if they're heels i really, really like i just feel more confident and know i look good in 'em. but i prefer flats for everyday/most days because my feet will look better and i'm saving my back. ;)

but yeah, i feel that our response to heels is socialization. in reality they cut most womens' stride and thus our ability to run/protect ourselves. so i have my critique against them (e.g. the idea that women are more beautiful when they can be captured/vulnerable), but i still like heels cuz in a weird still men-centered/how we were all socialized way b/c they make me feel powerful. :p

Being a guy, what I seem attracted about heels is that they add some height to a lady's legs and can even enhance womens' looks from down the legs. They kind of make a lady look more in control. And let's not forget how hot heels can look on some ladies who have amazing legs or even amazing bodies. Take it from a guy who liked looking at pictures of Japanese girls wearing these thick-soled boots with wicked heels (before they got outlawed due to injury and/or death)- they can really add attention to you. Or look at it like this... why do you ladies usually find a nice pair of heeled shoes to go with your fancy dresses and gowns? Wearing flats or flat-heeled shoes with elegant attire really destroys the balance of your look. Think of that fashion scam that fashion designers decried when some members of the Northwestern University championship lacrosse team went to the White House in flip-flops. Fancy outfit... then some Old Navy (I'm just assuming) flat flip-flops. Even if you're going to wear some thongs, let them either be wedges or heeled thongs. They even look better when ladies wear some anklets, especially with heeled sandals, high-heeled pumps, or any non-boots. Speaking of boots, high-heeled boots adds some extra attention to your legs. It's why I loved the trend of knee-high boots and gaucho pants. Gauchos have worked with everything from boots to sandals to sneakers. Flats and very low-heeled boots and shoes didn't really add much depth to such nice outfits.

It's about balance to me. Ladies who aren't afraid to show off how elegant and beautiful they are usually do justice better with heels as opposed to flats. I don't hate flats. Just that ladies who wear heels with more stylish clothes or more flirty styles are better off at exposing their beauty better than with flats.

i really really like the way heels make my legs look. slimmer, longer, sexier! yummi!

Wearing heels gives me a certain confidence
I feel in charge if I go into a business meeting wearing heels, a pencil skirt & a white blouse
I sometimes feel a sexual charge when I wear them
I won't deny I enjoy turning heads when I wear them

and

I hate it when women let the tips of their heels get run-down...to me that screams: I don't really care about my appearance:ninja:

Ooh, they look like candy!! When they look right, they are just irresistable, something about the shape, how they're balanced and delicate, could dangle on your fingers---

And I like walking in (good, well made, soft, fitted and balanced) high heels, it is like dancing and twirling every step with all the movement that they make apparent. I also like the extra height, though I am 175 cm barefoot already, it is nice to "tower" a bit... (though in more southern countries, it really is just ridiculous when 85% of my surroundings barely reach my chin, sadly)

i never went out wearing heels before so i have no idea what is it like to wear heels, getting the eyes on you.i love the look of heels but i am already long enogh and i dont think that i feel comfortable in heels..maybe it is lack of self-confidence :ermm:
