Lady Amanda Harlech is the latest member of Karl Lagerfeld’s entourage to take up acting on the side — and her first role is hardly a stretch. She plays “an English woman” in the forthcoming “Sports des Filles,” directed by Patricia Mazuy and starring Marina Hands and Josiane Balasko. Harlech said she’s been training in dressage for the equestrian-themed flick, but the costumes are a breeze. “I wear my own clothes quite a lot, my own riding boots,” she said.

though i got to say it must be nice to be paid to be a muse! i'm sure she does help karl with ideas but still .. she seems to be paid very well for those ideas

She is.
Karl gets maligned a lot but he's one of the most decent employer in the fashion world. He loyalty rewards the people who inspire him and pays Amanda a lot of money for doing the same job that John Galiano expected her to do for free. McQueen was the same way with Issy Blow.
I think that says a lot about what kind of person Karl is.

Amanda looked stunning at the Met.

^ Good point, Karl has always been very generous with his friends and coworkers. And of course Amanda comes from a privileged background (there is a Harlech Castle, after all...) and never had to worry about paying the bills anyway....
