looks quite gross IMO, especially the shoes

So eloquently put.

I must agree. The adjective 'gaudy' comes to mind.

the fifth outfit reminds me of michael jackson's video for smooth criminal

I like that yellow dress and the black and white dress with the tie, but the rest doesn't really excite me...

I don't like the pics from the beginning, but the silver silk dresses with draping are nice (like on Natasa, Dewi, and Liya). I also like Maria Carla's ensemble. The shoes are too fussy though, and the wide hip-slung belts don't work either.

Isn't Lagerfeld determined to make his namesake brand a brand of minimalist sleekness? Some of the tulle stuff, while cute, look like Chanel leftovers. I do like some of the column gowns, even though they're a bit predictable and borrow too much from Dior & Valentino--wouldn't have guessed they're from Karl. I seem to like this collection more than his previous ones (he's not put out a good show since his collaboration with Diesel) so I'm looking forward to the complete collection.

i completely and wholeheartedly agree...i think he's stretched too thin, he's too old to be stradling this many labels.

some of the looks are nice :flower: , some are horrid :ninja:
I kind of like this one, it;s interesting

Did Karl develop a special style for his namesake question when he was very young (probably a foetus actually, IMO) and never change it from that point onwards...

I like some of it, and dislike some of it. I read one of the reviews, and they said it was very Greek inspired :flower:

seriosly not feeling this ,exept for may be gema's white dress

i like this...and i like the belts...i want one...the shoes are silly...but i think they are just a statement for the runway and in an odd way...they work...

better than the usual lagerfeld collection which is usually just a white shirt wih blk pants and a long blk coat and several variations on that theme...

i have a good feeling about chanel...
and he's due for a knockout chanel show right about now...

Fendi wasn't too hot but I like this show. Even if it's not the most wearable, we have to remember that Lagerfeld Gallery is sort of Karl's little personal playground. It's hardly carried outside of France, has such a small clientele. Basically he can do whatever he wants. I like that this is a nice progression from the past few seasons which kinda blend together for me. He was doing the whole Slimane-tailoring and Diesel jeans for like 2 years. Glad he's moving on.
