I'm so glad she has been cast in more shows, she definitely deserves it. The addition of the Givenchy ad to her portfolio has certainly boosted her desirability. I can't wait to see her in more shows.

She is a case study in how unoriginal, lazy and what followers the fashion biz is. She's booking shows now, only after one or two big name clients book her, but before Hermes and Givenchy, she's too old, too ethnic, or whatever, for all these other designers to have in their shows?
What's going on with Sessilee Lopez is another example. She's been modeling for 4 years and even IMG couldn't get some traction with her career. But once SM decides she's got the look, everyone else gets on board the Lopez train.

I agree with you. Sometimes girls get success instantaneously and other times it really takes a designer or photographer taking a chance and daring to be different. It was the case with Hilary, it was the case with Sessilee and it's the case with Lakshmi as well. Someone had to have the vision to break with the overwhelming trend and do something different. Someone has to have the bravery that individualism requires and that is rare in fashion.

Thankfully we knew she was special. Look at her cleaning up in NY this season! Amazing! I knew she'd be stellar at Wang I wish she had done Marc tonight, aside from her exclusion the cast was perfect.

I actually ran into her today and asked to take a picture but it was quite early and she politely declined which is understandable. Sometimes a girl just wants to enjoy her breakfast She looked lovely of course. True beauty.
