Hi all,
I’m trying to identify a vintage Lampo zipper on a high-end leather jacket (likely bespoke or prototype).
It has:
• Octagonal bottom stop with 3 raised lines (hallmark),
• Raised “S” on the side of the slider (Superlampo?),
• Punch-marks (●–●) on the slider sides,
• Single-slider, non-separating #5 zip, polished teeth, matte gunmetal finish.
D’Arienzo (Italian leather specialist) confirmed the jacket as handmade Solofra bespoke, likely from the ’80s–’90s.
Berluti said it’s not traceable in their archive (typical for prototypes).
Lampo, however, replied “normal production zip” — without further details.
❓Has anyone seen this combo (S + hallmark + punch-marks) before? Was this exclusive to Superlampo prototypes or test runs?
Any info, images or examples appreciated. Photos attached!
Thanks!
