Lanvin Resort 2024 Paris

It feels very American…Very Elsa Peretti-esque with the jewelry, very formal…
This is a wardrobe for actresses and RC. I don’t see no daywear so, the Lanvin woman’s life start after 6 pm I guess…

I actually think it's pretty good.

A lot of the current design team came from Lemaire.

This edit is not ideal, the full lookbook was much better. Not sure why they edited it this way in the end

Men's is a bit whatever.

That explains a lot, especially with the womenswear.

Overall, it's a good collection, but overall directionless. I do hope that they find a creative director with a strong artistic voice, good technical skills and an eye for accessory design.

Also, Sialelli deserved better than this mess and I hope he finds a good well paid gig somewhere.

Also, according to the Vogue Runway review, a new long-term creative director will probably be announced in the fall.
Until a new creative director is announced (supposedly this coming fall), Lanvin’s seasonal collections are being spearheaded by its in-house studio.

In house studio is doing a much better job than Sialelli ever did. It's inoffensive, maybe a bit boring but at least there are no loewe gimmicks.
