She’s one of the most coveted models (and bodies) in the business—serving as the face for Calvin Klein, Givenchy, and Belstaff, among others. Now, Lara Stone will utter global beauty giant L’Oréal Paris’ four famous words to women all over the world: Because you’re worth it. As for joining the ranks of supers and stars like Laetitia Casta, Beyoncé Knowles, Doutzen Kroes, Julianne Moore, and Jane Fonda, she says, “It wasn’t really anything I ever expected to happen in my career…I never could really see myself in their lineup.” While her gap-toothed smile, sensual curves, and “X-rated lips,” as described by Calvin Klein, make Stone anything but the stereotypical, lithe catwalker, it’s these non-cookie-cutter features that have earned her opening spots and exclusives on multiple runways. Designer Riccardo Tisci told W magazine that he “fell in love” upon first meeting the voluptuous and soft-spoken Dutch beauty in 2006 during castings for Givenchy’s couture show—an effect, it seems, she continues to have on many.

Check back on Friday to discover Stone’s beauty essentials.

Congrats! Good for her.

They do have many models on their roster though, and her appeal is kind of similar to Laetitia and Claudia.

I just noticed that picture, it's so stunning

This is just awesome. Permanent modelling icon, this one. And geez, their roster is seriously impeccable. Best one out there in the world of cosmetics as far as I am concerned.

Good for her!! $$$
Seriously, there will be any other model availabe for beauty brands if they continue to cast so many A-list models!!!

Not thrilled about this. She just doesn't fit the L,oreal concept woman at all.

I am so happy for her, it is well deserved. She is hard working model and I am excited that she's back after the birth. And my god she is stunning.

Say whaaaaa? I'm so excited for her! Get that money girl!

Wow almost a year now and what ad has she done? I saw her shoot something with Karlie and with another girl.

Also, did she replace Doutzen?

 Perceptive logic!! They really have all the heavyweights at the moment. I just wish they'd release the ads already!!!

She's super-gorgeous, but somehow, her shots don't have the impact that they should, all things considered. I was trying to work out what the missing element was, and I think it's the eyebrows. The "no brow" look works really well when it's all about a nude face, but when the image calls for something more dramatic, a slightly darker brow would work wonders.

All the other girls have that 'look-at-me' factor here, except Lara. Personally I think it's due to the hair colour. Doutzen and Fan Bingbing for me, all the way!

Doutzen is the best. No doubt. Second Natasha.
Lara looks gorgeous, but indeed to high end for L'Oréal I guess. There is something lacking here, a brighter haircolor or lipstick would have veen better. I think the only one who can sell the nude color like this would be Doutzen. That face.. The others are stunning to, but Doutzens beauty is from another dimension, it's so classic, commercial and so vavoom.
