Didn't see a thread for this anywhere, so hope it's not a repeat of a previous.

Wuthering Heights at Theatre Royal, York
Really different interpretation of the story, with only 4 actors, 1 set & songs in it. I really enjoyed it as it was very atmospheric.

The Importance of Being Earnest at Rowntrees Park, York
Hilarious! An outdoor performance & the rain stayed off for once. All the cast appeared to enjoy it as much as the audience & the guy playing Lady Bracknell was brilliant

Alan Bennett's 'The History Boys' at Wyndhams theatre. It was excellent :)

madam butterfly at the royal albert hall, last year (2007)

Forgot I had started this thread!
Went to see Northern Ballet's version of 'Hamlet' in Leeds and it was brilliant! Really deep & dark and set in post-war Paris.
On Wednesday, my aunt & I are going to see 'Midsummer Night's Dream' at Lincoln Castle and when I get back to York, I am taking one of our residents (from Residential Home where I work) to see 'A Man for all Seasons' at the Theatre Royal

I thought I would try and revive this thread, its a bit lacking in posts. :)

I am so fortunate to have seen quite a few ballet productions in my time- seeing as I've had great access to the prestigious New York City ballet company. I grew up seeing the NYC ballet perform near my hometown. Recently I've seen productions of Midsummers Night Dream (which is one of my favorites- I've seen it at least three times), some contemporary productions, The Firebird, Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, ect. I love going to the ballet- its such a time honored tradition which I am so glad my parents instilled a love for while growing up.

WICKED on Broadway (second time). It was awesome. I took my BFF and she said she will never be able to watch The Wizard of Oz the same way again.

Sugar. It's a musical based on the film Some Like It Hot. The songs aren't the greatest or most memorable I've heard but the acting was great and storyline is so much fun that it doesn't really matter.
