I think it's fine that she flew a bit under the radar this fashion week. It's better to have a quiet but blue chip first (full) season than to have a busy but non-selective first season. It just means that she can be a breakout next season.

I agree; keep some mystery. If it's a move from her management I think they are doing the right thing.

Except that most of the shows she did aren't blue chip... at least last season she did Prada and Miu Miu.

I think it's true that she's too conventionally pretty for the current state of the industry, where either bland or weird looking girls are thriving.

Anyway, if i'm not mistaken she was in the Chanel lookbook shot by the master himself, so that's a good sign.

Glad to see her at Chanel and Emanuel Ungaro,but I am disappointed in general how her Paris Fashion Week turned out. She wasn`t even at Chloe and I still remember how breathtakingly beautiful she was looking during the show and backstage

And no Alexander McQueen when she opened last year...

She looked so beautiful in every show that she did do though!

I always say that Elite/The Society are bad agencies but I never thought that they wouldn't be able to manage a girl with so much potential. If they can make Kendall boring Jenner a superstar then why not make this girl a top model?
Lauren has the potential to become the new Dutch supermodel, it's such a waste...
Maybe I'm wrong or maybe it's even too early to say anything about her career but I want to see this girl become BIG
Having Karl's support barely means anything nowadays... Look at Sam Rollinson, Magda L, etc.

Seriously, The Society must suck really hard if they can't make Lauren de Graaf happen.

Part of the problem might be that Lauren is way too beautiful for high fashion at the moment. All of the top walkers, even the "pretty" ones, have something kind of off about them - Maartje has the wonky eye, Vanessa has the weird lopsided lips, etc. But Lauren's also too elegant and regal for something like Victoria's Secret. Maybe that leaves her in kind of a weird place.

The Society doesn't suck. Nor does Elite worldwide - arguably the best management in the world. Maybe there are factors at play that you can't see from watching the shows on youtube and speculating on fashion spot.
