From first glance, Lauren Remington Platt appears to have it all. Statuesque, poised and intelligent, the 26-year-old looks more Westport, Conn., than West Village. Graduating from Columbia University in 2006, Platt became a research analyst at a hedge fund. Swapping out her Chanel jackets for chaos theory, long hours at the office left Platt only minutes and a mascara wand before hitting the benefit circuit post-work. This prompted the platinum-haired beauty to start Vênsette.com, a members-only Web site that allows its users to select from pre-styled hair and makeup options, starting at $250 for in-home visits by professional hair and makeup artists. Makeup options range from a natural, sun-kissed look to red-lipped Grace Kelly regalness, while hair styles run the gamut from a slicked-back ponytail (The Tribeca) to a classic, iron-straight middle part à la Gwyneth Paltrow at the Oscars. With an international gaggle of good-looking clients that include the model Anouk Lepere and Monaco royal Charlotte Casiraghi, who better than Platt to tell you how to put your best face forward.

The look in the first post is my favourite. Those tailored crisp white pants look so sharp on her.

And she must be a smartie as well since it appears she must have graduated form Columbia at 20 if she's now 26 .

She really pulls off classic style. Most people her age are more trendy - she looks great!

I guess she may have been young for her year, started university at 17 years old, and doing a 4 year degree would mean she graduated at 20? Still, to have your own business, she must be clever and entrepreneurial. She certainly appears that way in interviews.

As noted above, she comes from the family that created Remington arms (i.e. shotguns, rifles, etc.) - so yeah, safe to say her family certainly helped with her hedge fund hookups and/or financing her business. that said, she still chose to start her own business, work the hours of a hedge fund - when she could have just lounged.

I love her style - it's just suits her so well. She has really come into her own in recent years.
