Lea Seydoux

Saw La vie d'Adèle this morning in Cannes and MY GOD its is good !!!! Definitely the best I've seen so far. Both Léa and Adèle give an incredible performance.

I'm glad that Léa is finally have her moment this year with all the stellar reviews. I'm waiting impatiently to see it. If my french was excellent I would read the book prior to watching the film.

French actor Jeremie Laheurte, actress Adele Exarchopoulos, French-Tunisian director Abdellatif Kechiche, French actress Lea Seydoux and producer Brahim Chioua pose on May 26, 2013 as they arrive for the screening of the film 'Zulu' presented Out of Competition at the 66th edition of the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes.

disappointed that she hasn't really impressed much on the red carpet, expected more

Her performance was considered so great that she was awarded the Palme d'Or along with the film and the other actress. I think that's the first time that has ever happened.

Yep it is a first! This is amazing for Lea ^_^

I know, she won the Palme instead of Best Actress. :flower:

Spielberg specifically stated that they made the unprecedented decision to award the Palme to the actresses as well as the film. Cannes have a strange rule in that which ever film wins the Palme d'Or cannot get any other award so I imagine this is how the jury managed to do both.

Congrats to her and Abdellatif Kechiche, I want to watch this so badly now ;)

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for the infrormation :flower:

Ok so i'm a bit confused. The Palme d'Or is the Best Picture? So what did Lea win? I don't quite understand the rules.

I don't like her smile but she's cute.
She looks a little like Scarlett Johansson but Léa is prettier.
