Leather Coffee/brown Balenciaga Bag...

Hey all! I received a Balenciaga bag as a gift, but I can't find a photo of it online! The leather is a gorgeous deep, cool caramel brown and it looks like the balenciaga le dix bag but without the zippers. 'BALENCIAGA' is embossed on the front of the bag and the handles are whipstitched. Can someone tell me whether this bag is real? Is there a website with photos or somewhere I can take it to find out its authenticity?

It's probably one of the Balenciaga bags that Loehman's was selling, but I can't be sure without actually seeing it. There was some controversy that they were fakes, but I think it turned out they were just old stock, and were actually authentic, just older styles.

Yes. Century 21 also sold a bunch...

in an effort to curb counterfeiters Balenciaga produced a lower priced, not as fancy, smaller, bag than the Le Dix....but don't quote me on that...hahah...I have one and don't have concrete proof (actual pictures, etc) that it is authentic..but hey it's looks authentic and i do have the original tags.
