What do you think of the look mini skirts or dresses with leggings?
and what shoes would you wear with this look?

Well, I've been lurking here for a while and love some of your obsevations. So now I'd like to comment.

Love leggings with minis! I see little flats or funky 60's "go-go boots" with them, since it's a retro trend or a flash of color over tall above the knee boots. Yeah, you do have to have great legs for the bold patterned ones, but darker, solid leggings make less than perfect legs look pretty good in minis. And they are practical, too, since it works in colder climates in the cold weather.

im wearing them with minis, dresses, and also with a cute pleated helmut lang pleated knee lenght skirt i picked up in a sale

I guess I am the only person in the entire universe who hates leggings. I hated leggings when they were in during the 80's and I hate them now. I guess I just like to show off a great set of legs.

If you are going to wear a miniskirt, then show off your legs ladies. Don't hide them behind leggings. If you are going to complain about how cold it is outside and need leggings to warm your legs, don't wear skirts in the dead of winter!!

I especially hate how right now, the new trend is BRIGHT leggings. I'm talking about lime green, bright yellow, hot pink, eletrick blue and so forth.

i actually cringe for the girls wearing mini's in 20 degree weather with bare legs.... i have always loved the look of tights and so glad they are back....

It's been a trend for awhile. It's really popular in Japan and the look has definitely been circulating around New York for some time now.

I wouldnt call it a trend but its comfortable if you want the leggings and for example flipflops and you cant put normal socks on..but she looks awful..

this is a trend at my school that i detest . b/c of the dress code, girls wear skirts and if it's too cold out, many will wear leggings underneath.
i hate this, i really do. the only thing worse, which i see at my school, is sweats/pjs under skirts.

It's already a trend, I don't think it will get past Spring just because people are weary of the 80's, plus very few people actually do it well. Kelly and MK aren't those people.

OMG Kelly has the Monogram Cerises round change holder that I wanted! Now I don't.

Trend or not - I`ll go for it this summer! Mainly because it`s comfortable and you can wear skirts that REALLY would be too short otherwise!

On another note: like last year`s Leggins Trend: only for women with skinny legs please! (Shame on you Kelly! )
