Lera Sheremeta

LOL sethii, I can just imagine her turning up her face after being offered the Prada campaign. That would be hilarious!

I'm happy to hear she's gotten Moschino though!

One day everyone on earth will have a Marc Jacobs bag named after them.

And each and every one of those bags will just be the Stam just with the zipper moved around a bit because I swear thats all Marc is doing with those bags.

^Hahaha, well at least the Mina, Alyona, and Ines are just repositioned Stam bags. Lera's bag, much like the model herself, seems to be in a world of its own! ;)

She has to have gotten Marc Jacobs, he made a bloody bag named after her for Gods-sake (unless she's already hit him over the head with it.....).
You know, the second part of your comment... I can totally see that happening! :innocent:

^I would like to hope for that as well, but I believe that the rumors at the moment involve Victoria Beckham for the mainline. Its a shame, because Lera would obviously be a much more appropriate choice! If not, he should use her for the MxMJ campaign.

If only we could cast the campaigns ourselves...

OMG  how could I miss this girl! What a character  (and what a hideous bag, but then again, it's Marc Jacobs so no surprise there :ninja:)

she's like a mix of Divanopka (that disgusted face ain't lying) and 'badass' Lara Stone :mowhawk:
I think her attitude will either work for or against her...the last seems more likely, I have to say

Welcome to all things Sheremeta-riffic! Personally, I think the 'attitude' isn't going to be that big of a deal in the future. I cannot imagine Paul Rowland & Co. would let this reputation outlive her potential. Then again, that's just my opinion. We shall see what happens come February!

^ Sorry, that's from POP F/W 2007

Cast by Russel Marsh, Prada's casting director :innocent:

I apologize for rehashing past rumors, but if the whole Prada incident is true, then, wow; I'm totally shocked. Opening a show like Prada would have only boosted her career. I really hope her agency reprimanded her (if these rumors are true) because what she did is quite disrespectful and foolish.

Anyway, she gives me a really creepy vibe. Does anyone else think she resembles the White Witch from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe? I'm creeped out by her, but at the same time, I'm intrigued. :ninja:

Creepy :o:heart:

It looks like it dawned on her what opening prada means :ninja:

I love that she's checking out a picture of herself on style.com! Also, Russell cannot be that outraged with her, or else he wouldn't have either shot her in the first place, or included Lera in the editorial. Mind you, he also casts Jil Sander, and her attitude was in check long enough to walk in that show.

I may be unheard of, but I really do not think that its the end of her career by any means.

If I recall she got kicked of Prada for not liking her outfit and messing up her make-up, she was probably fine with Jil Sander since the clothing and make-up was something that an actual human being would wear rather than being made up to like some grunged up zombie wearing some God-forsaken, hideous garment. If I was being forced to wear that get-up I'd be a bit of a little diva too but that's just my opinion.

Neither do I. Sadly, it might just as well work in her favor. In any case, she has certainly made a stronger impression than most newcomers...

I can't believe some people seem to find her childish, disrespectful behavior charming or whatever, though....

Anyone know if Russell also casts Chapurin? I've always assumed he did, although it was just an assumption, but anyway, Lera walked for Chapurin while in Paris.

It's definitely TFS, haha!

ETA: And I just noticed whose post that was
