Lera is one of my favorite models !

I had so much fun shooting Lera Sheremeta !
She has very interesting caracter , but she is very sweet girl .
She doesn't wear contacts and it's her true color - amazing !
I did take a look very close , while my makeup artist Kate Iniakina-Romanoff were doing her make up. Here some photos from the Test Shoot for Supreme.

Hi Alix, Yes her eyes are real , I had a long photoshoot with her that night, and we talk a lot after in Russian and believe me I was looking right to her eyes, they are so amazing , I couldn't take mine away !

because it has this darkened boarder.

The lenses that change the colour (not the ones which make the shade brighter) have this kind of outline imitating iris of the eye of a certain colour, some of these lenses also have a brighter and darker boarder which is made to make the eye colour look more natural. And contacts that emphasize your colour look different, they are transparent and have a light shade of colour applied on the lense. And simple contacts have no colour at all. Here is the pic of the contacts which change the colour (at the bottom) and the ones which only emphasize the brightness of your eyes (on the top).

I wear normal contacts and judging from that picture she is most definitely wearing contacts, as you can see the outline of it a couple of cm away from her iris to the right.
But, if you were to look at your eye color right now in the mirror, you will notice that your iris has a natural darker color 'outline' color, therefore, it is nearly impossible to tell if she is wearing color contacts.
I don't think the agencies would allow that anyway? Unless they didn't know.

Also, you may be able to prove she has colored contacts only if you find a close up of her eye in which you can see the contact is not directly on the iris and pupil, and you will notice the color straying onto the white part of your eyeball. It will be very visible.

Sorry, misunderstood you !! Of course I know you said she wore them , but I meant coloured... they really look like coloured contacts a la Paris Hilton up there!!!

I honestly don't care if she pops her eyes out at night and keeps them in a glass of water by the bed. Someone had to think that she's beautiful / interesting looking in the first place in order for her to be a model at the level she's at right now. Even if she isn't everyone's cup of tea I think her look stands on its own regardless of eye color. I don't even get why she would wear colored lenses. Its not as though models with darker eyes are unheard of / undesirable.

I'm excited to see Lera's Beauty ed in the latest Vogue Nippon.

Yeah, there is nothing like having an ick attitude. Hopefully she will calm down and be nnicer to people so that way she will get better jobs. No one wants to work with someone who is mean!
