lily was beautiful as the bride. =] good choice good choice! but, can someone explain to me the concept of the 'bride.' i never had it explained to me... i know there's one at every haute couture show -- at the end, right? but, do they hold some sort of significance???

Not every haute Couture show. Lacroix and Karl Lagerfeld both have one. The bride symbolizes the designer's muse of the moment.

For Lily, she's been Lacroix's muse for a while. For Lagerfeld, it changes. Lily was his a couple seasons ago. Since then it has also been Freja and now Raquel (this season)

I'm not an expert on this but I hope that helped.

Lily is simply incredible for couture, I've just realized that looking at these last few pages of pictures. She just has the skin and the hair and the eyes for it, I don't know, I'm completely in awe of her right now.

I know a few of these were posted a page or so back, but Wireimage is really hard to tell the difference in the thumbnails and even the larger sizes sometimes when you're dealing with fashion shows (so many shots are very similar) so I'm sorry for the reposts, but there are others that are new so hopefully that makes up for it!
