OMG! Those clothes she's wearing in all those are amazing. I want everyone of them.

Hey guys, I was flicking through the Telegraph's (UK) 'how to spend it' magazine which is released once a year I think. Anyway I noticed Lily on the article about Cashmere trading...modelling a beautiful cashmere top. If anybody wants me to scan it in, i'll be more than happy to.

Some models don't look as good on the runway and backstage as in editorials and stuff.. But those last pictures of Lily in the black dress:shock: STUNNING!! she looks like she got a full camera screw there. shes so gorgeous.

WOOPS! i wrote camera screw:blink:    you guys knew what I meant though:)

She looks like an alien

Whats with "little girl" face that starts off too wide and then ends too narrow, ala Ward, Trentini and Marks? I'm sick of this look!

Fashion-Shows

Does anybody know the fashion-shows to the pictures in this index ?

Would be great to find out which they belong to.

Thanks

It's a classic look. This type of female face started to become popular in the 19th century and it had it's peak around 1930 or so with faces like Louise Brooks, Lilian Gish and original IT girl Clara Bow. Round face, big eyes and small chin are all strong signals for feminity - high levels of estrogen.

I like 'infant chic', I really do and here's an interesting article on the subject (from Harper's Bazaar, May I think).
http://www.harpersbazaar.com/etoc/articles/2005/050105_3.html

The main idea is that it has become less trendy to look like you're working on it too hard, and that the infant chic look is a way for women to escape the world of extremely high expectations (for work, for looks) into being childish.

Really interesting article, iluvjeisa, thanks for sharing. "Rediscovered" pictures, from i-D, January 2004. Photographed by Horst Diekgerdes, styling by Venetia Scott... Thank you's going out to metal-on-metal.
