And that means she's only got one more year at Oxford?
Wrong university. She's at Cambridge.
And that means she's only got one more year at Oxford?

How does anyone know how she does in her exams? Does she talk about her results in interviews or does the media get her results before she does? (The results of undergraduate exams at Cambridge and Oxford would only just have come out about now, in fact they can take a little longer as well, so I'm baffled by how her marks seem to be public knowledge already)![]()
I know, it just seems so odd that any source would report themThat does seem a bit overzealous fanish doesn't it? Good accomplishment for Lily, but her grades a newsworthy item?..

I think so, it's such a private matter it surprises me that the media keeps discussing it^Lovely outfit... however I don't really see how its anyone's business in knowing her grades, shouldn't that be private?
She's 22 according to her wikipedia pageoh she's in university? how old is she actually?
i like her latest dress, but the shoes and bag doesn't really match with the dress.

But at least for the last five years or so they use your student ID number and not your name to display your marks for the sake of privacy, the same happens in Oxford. I graduated from Cambridge in August and that's what they did for us every yearResults at Cambridge are usually posted only a couple days after the last exam. And when I say "posted" I do mean it literally. The students in each course are broken into "classes" - ie 1, 2:1, 2:2, 3 (like American grades A, B, C, D) and their names are listed alphabetically under each class. Then it's printed on a big piece of paper and posted on a bulletin board at the Senate House, a building in the centre of Cambridge, where any member of the university can see it. Marks are definitely not a private thing there!

No worries, as far as I know the change is very recent at both Oxford and Cambridge and was undertaken specifically because of concerns over privacy (which I'm assuming were first raised 20 years ago and they only got round to addressing nowReally? I graduated a couple years ago and they always used our names. I guess they must've changed it right after I left. Strange that they'd change a centuries-old tradition. Sorry for the misinformation!
