Model Wall: Lisanne De Jong
After a whirlwind fashion season (63 shows!), Lisanne De Jong is now excited to focus on finding an apartment here in New York City and officially call herself a real New Yorker. The Dutch model has been in the business for only a year—although De Jong was first scouted on the streets of Amsterdam when she was fourteen, she opted to stay in school instead—but has been a favorite of Balenciaga, Proenza Schouler, Prada, and Chanel. With some campaigns in the works and a new place to call home, it’s no surprise her outlook is just as grown-up. “You quickly learn the amount of hard work and dedication modeling requires,” says De Jong, “and that’s alright by me!”
