Almost every domestic front-line fashion magazine has already invited Liu Wen to shoot for fashion's big brands, distributed by her outspoken nature, well known fashion magazine Marie Claire regarded her as "Mystery of the fashion industry". In 2009, Liu Wen walked down as many as 70 runways, therefore can be rated as the fashion industry's "show tyrant". However, the Chinese people were much more surprised than Liu Wen when she got a place at the 09 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, as the first Asian face to appear in a Victoria Secret show!

Your current activity? I'm in my favourite bakery in New York waiting for a friend.

1. Cool Vitamin Water power-c - from New York, it's a fashionable hydration drink, and with our daily work and life, it's necessary to get the essential nutrition and vitamins.
2. Artificial wool vest - represents the latest trend, people should wear it to add a unique sense to their style.
3. Brown Messenger bag - classic style, with a variety of colors, can be used with any jacket.
4. Animal print tights - even in a huge city under the bright light exposure, you can still create a unique effect.
5. Black military boots - both a functional and stylish element, and with a little rock and roll style.
In the busy streets of New York, people have realized that Liuwen likes to keep cool by drinking vitamin water, thereby maintaining its fashionable and popular image.

Q & A (M = METRO; L = Liu Wen)
M: What have participated in in this year's fashion show?
L: I participated in Michael Kors, Rodarte and Alexander Wang. Last week i participated in the Victoria's Secret fashion show, which is different from the other fashion shows. On the runway, i turned to the audience and showed them my personality, and in addition it was a lot of fun!
M: What do you think the spring and summer fashion trends will be like?
L: I think in the spring, a well-cut shoulder design will be popular.
M: What is your favourite dress style like for day?
L: I like to mix the style of many designers to create their own unique style. I like a slightly female rock style.
M: How can the finishing touch, demonstrate the perfection of the overall dressing performance?
L: you can try wearing a cocktail ring or a large metal like this personalized necklace.
M: Metro you would like to recommend a kind of fashion item?
L: I recommend pants. They are comfortable, and many color models, to ensure you can have a different dress every day.
M: Have you ever done runway shows one after the other at such a busy situation that during your free time, you will go shopping and sightseeing?
L: I will try to go shopping if i have free time, but for me, the most important thing is to get rest and also to see friends and family.
M: You've been in all the cities, which do you most prefer?
L: I cannot choose between all cities, because every city has its own unique charm. New York has excellent runway shows, but Paris is the fashion capital and there's a lot of things to eat in Beijing's (there's also my family), and Shanghai makes me excited because it truly is a shopping paradise!
M: In the New Year, what kind of blessing would you like to give us here at Metro Monthly?
L: I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Okay, i had a little trouble translating some parts, so i left them out. Sorry about that. Also, i know, the English is a little off, but ahh, admittedly, i got lazy half way through so i decided to use google translate and the translation was really bad, so i had to correct them a little bit. Hope you enjoyed her little interview.

Now i'm gonna go for some frozen yoghurt. Cheers. ^_^

Liu Wen Gets Literary With Tucker's Fall Collection
By: Kristian Laliberte

Gaby Basora, the NYC designer behind indie brand Tucker, is having a damn good year. She's the next designer to score a collaboration with Target for their Go International series, and starting next week, she'll have a second video in the brand's new series of short films will air on Taxi TV. Known for her vintage prints and bold colors, Gaby goes for a more muted palette in her fall '10 lookbook. The simple cuts and the staple pieces are still there, and there's a couple of powerful punches of brightness, but overall, the clothes lean toward soft tans, heather grays, and some beautiful plums. The latest collection is inspired by French writer Marguerite Duras after Basora scooped up to first editions over at Dashwood books on Bond Street, saying, "There's a fierceness packed into the author-director that I find inspiring and alluring." That spirit certainly translates to Liu Wen, who shines in crisp shots in the lookbook—pensive on a couch, coy in a stairwell, and sexy against a fireplace—and makes us long for a quiet evening at home. We heart the tomboyish (but still feminine) culottes, the perfect white wool trench, and a sandy, pin-tucked dress. After peeping the pics, you may want to find a first edition of your own.
