it was just a marketing ploy to rile up some nationalism in people who are materialistic and or clueless enough to buy into this crap. clothes looked more like a JC Penney catalogue preview. man if i were to use the great wall i'd go all out and hire a flying trapeze with ninjas jumping around or some sht. i like how Lagerfeld made it sound like he was the first person in history to ever think of putting a show on the great wall, when in reality people just dont give a fvck.
