Special Delivery: Your Invitation to Christie’s and Runway to Green’s Live Fashion Show Tonight

Vogue.com is going to stream the runway event live tonight at 8:30 P.M.
But what of the event, you ask? Well, after cocktail hour, Saturday Night Live’s Seth Meyers will step up as the master of ceremonies for the second annual “Green Auction,” which has partnered with Runway to Green this year, a fund-raising organization that brings together fashion designers to raise funds that directly benefit programs for the education about, and awareness of, environmental issues. This time around, 26 fashion designers (like Stella McCartney, Balenciaga’s Nicolas Ghesquière, and Thakoon Panichgul) and three jewelry designers have volunteered by creating an original look for a one-of-a-kind runway show; directly after the show, their looks will be available on Net-A-Porter.com, with proceeds going directly to the beneficiaries, like the NRDC and the Central Park Conservatory.
