I hope the content is good... The Italian version produces good editorials I believe and there are other version with good work. I'm worried that they will put out the standard GQ type of editorial modified for American readers

I wouldn’t bother to hold my breath for anything remotely resembling the better, stronger, higher fashion of this magazine’s European-versions. The "USA" on the cover should kill anything... daring.

Just look at this cover and it’s already firmly sticking to the typical American man’s “fashion” magazine template: Celebrity coverboy, traditional suiting, and that damn watch (don’t be surprised a generous portion of the content will be watch-centric rich to keep their watch clients happy).

That's what I see as well - Esquire! Don't like it. It's too safe and basic, but then again it fits the coverstar.
