I know, and she's not the only one. Also, we don't always have the full picture, we don't know what are the reasons behind such sudden changes.
I guess some others who had similar career changes might have gone from 'A-level' high-fashion stuff (that doesn't pay the rent) to rather unknown commercial brands (that pay better) did it "almost" on purpose. Like some of the late Vogue Paris favorites who are barely doing anything tFS people consider as fashion-worthy any longer but have piles and piles of commercial stuff and underwear campaigns in their book right now and for already the last few years.
I'm not often bothered by this situation at all, now less than ever since the 'big' magazines' overall quality faced an unparallaled letdown.
But only as long as great visuals keep coming. Lola, though, is a bit too rare for my eye's taste, even if some of the latest pics posted here are awesome. That Gimaguas campaign is delightful even if I've never heard of the brand's name before this very minute. Far better than most of the crap I see in magazines that used to be regular items in my personal collection, even when big names are involved in terms of styling or photography. Or that Nina Ricci stuff, simply lovely too. The problem is that there is roughly a full year (at least) between both, which is pretty much of an eternity in a fast-paced field like fashion, and this while my eyes were used to see new materials of Lola every week.
