How did she manage to end in that way?

what happened to her career? If anyone knows, please I'd really like to know.

Just revisited her thread. Probably my favorite stylist. Her work with Meisel is unparalleled. It’s hard to describe her work because it’s not necessarily specific or “signature” - in the way, say Carine’s work is. Hard to describe and maybe the better for it.

It’s kind of amazing, too, how her own personal style is so goofy! Truly an original!

Carine's work is very sensual, and à la mode. Please take a look at French Glamour, The Face and Vogue Paris. Her craziet work was at V & Purple.

^^Yes - that was my point - that a stylist like Carine has more of a signature - sensual and a la mode, as you said. Someone like Grace Coddington is also a stylist that has a bit more of a signature, too.

I was referring to Lori’s work being more difficult to describe - as her work was so diverse. Other than, somehow, she managed to create for every story the sensation of it just being totally perfect.

I guess if I really had to think about what her strength was, it wasn’t that she had a signature look - it’s that she had the ability to pull from all different designers for a story and somehow make it not only seem cohesive and appropriate to the story, but it’s almost like she was able to recontextualize the designer items in such a successful and integrated way that it was as if she created a whole new “collection” out the various clothes.
