Loro Piana S/S 2025 : Angelina, Anok, Selena, Leon & Woosang by Mario Sorrenti

Same casting as the previous season? Piergiorgio please move on...
I disagree, in some cases, a repeat casting and art direction helps emphasizing a brand's consistency and positioning, over the trends.
Like Chanel had Inès, Claudia, Freija as repeat RTW models and Vittoria as beauty muse for 10 years now.

Here those are really gorgeous pics.
I am surprised by the womenswear; Loro Piana is quietly going after Dior customers - the black ensemble - and Chanel customers - the red suit is gorgeous, and the yellow one (silk and linen ?) is better than a Virginie Chanel one.
I am a bit confused though by Angelina's cocktail look.

But it's really a departure from the sweater company.

I understand what you're saying, but in my opinion, this argument doesn't apply to beauty because of contractual obligations. Moreover, choosing one or two girls for consecutive campaigns, as you mentioned, is nothing new (for example, Mona and Vittoria did the Ferragamo SS23 and FW23 campaigns, just as Anok Yai did for Fendi SS24 and FW24). However, repeating the exact same cast in its entirety, in my view, is counterproductive.

let's be honest LP is lost in translation & mudding around ... they have no real direction other than the success of recent years of focus on this look in luxury and all the arabs using it as there uniqlo daily clothes.

they can do mid communication ads as it core clients don't even care , the have a relationship with the stores and product the image is the quality and price and the colors the rest these stand for nothing.

its a fabric based brand and its still not there yet as a fully formed story maybe will never be .

its not even headed by a creative director but merchandiser in constant frixion with style /studio design director

looks are so heavy and fabrics as well have no relation to the season and an brasil location

only pic i love is the yellow dress
