I disagree, in some cases, a repeat casting and art direction helps emphasizing a brand's consistency and positioning, over the trends.Same casting as the previous season? Piergiorgio please move on...
I understand what you're saying, but in my opinion, this argument doesn't apply to beauty because of contractual obligations. Moreover, choosing one or two girls for consecutive campaigns, as you mentioned, is nothing new (for example, Mona and Vittoria did the Ferragamo SS23 and FW23 campaigns, just as Anok Yai did for Fendi SS24 and FW24). However, repeating the exact same cast in its entirety, in my view, is counterproductive.I disagree, in some cases, a repeat casting and art direction helps emphasizing a brand's consistency and positioning, over the trends.
Like Chanel had Inès, Claudia, Freija as repeat RTW models and Vittoria as beauty muse for 10 years now.
Here those are really gorgeous pics.
I am surprised by the womenswear; Loro Piana is quietly going after Dior customers - the black ensemble - and Chanel customers - the red suit is gorgeous, and the yellow one (silk and linen ?) is better than a Virginie Chanel one.
I am a bit confused though by Angelina's cocktail look.
But it's really a departure from the sweater company.
